About Me
My name is Amanda, and I'm a legal adult. I was born and raised in the suburbs of Minneapolis. Sometimes I feel secretive, but other times I like to be outgoing and be "myself." This photoblog explains, in pictures, of who I am, what I like, and what I stand for. I believe photographs share more with their beauty and meaning than one could ever describe using words. If you would like to see the "real me," you may head to my website and browse my other projects.

About the Photos
Film is my absolute favorite way to capture pictures, but when it came time to develop them, the quality was reather poor, and I didn't want to take the time to learn how to develop my own pictures. Developing black and white photos was something I learned in high school, but I don't have any equipment in my home to accomlish this. I eventually gained access to a digital camera, and I found that things were much easier to manage, in terms of me being able to crop images without scanning them, etc.

Maybe my point here is this: The images you see on this site aren't perfect; they're not supposed to be perfect. The digital images have been cropped and/or shrunk for loading time and size, and the film images have been scanned and cropped to a 4:3 ratio to fit with the other digital images, therefore, they lose quality. The quality of the picture isn't as important to me as why I took the picture in the first place.
